I'm looking into getting a 2" level for my 2012 SR5 Double Cab, and am looking for brand recommendations. I've heard Rough country is good (also affordable), but I've also heard of people not being big fans.

    Anyway, happy to have suggestions.

5100 are budget friendly but still have a good ride. ADS are good but most likely overkill.

Big thing is budget... Guys on here will have recommendations that will be all over the map, but the biggest part is how much are you willing to pay?

Budget's not super high right now. Maybe $200? That's why I was initially drawn to the Rough Country 2" level, since it's $59.95.

Do you really think a lift that costs about the same as 2 steak dinners is going to be quality? Save up and do it correctly.

If you're keeping your budget tight, and just want the leveled look, look at Bilstein 5100s... Can be had for about $400-$500 for all four corners

So with those ones it says the snap ring locations are at 0, 0.85", 1.75", 2.5". If I hit 2.5, would I have to do anything to the rear? Since from what I've heard 2" inches will level it nicely.

Buy hey, that's why I'm here to learn.

You can also check the TW marketplace there may be some deals on there. Like most members have hinted at, its better to spend time researching and investing in quality aftermarket susp componets then it is to buy cheap. There are a multitude of issues that can come up when lifting these trucks. TW will have all the answers. Good luck.

I'd stick with the 1.75 setting. It will look level and you will still be able to get a decent alignment. Take a look at other trucks with 1.75" in the front.

When I "leveled" my truck measuring the fenders and matching them, it looked nose high(bro dozer).

Depends on the offset and size of the wheels and how willing you are to cut/trim/remove plastic and/or metal on the cab mount.

265/70/17 is about as big as you can "safely" go without breaking out the grinder and hammer, but wheel size and offset will be the determining factor.

To give you an idea, this is just a hair higher in the rear measuring from the ground to the fender.

Cool. You still running with the 1.75 or have you changed it further?

    Looks sharp.

I have no idea. I've graduated to 2.5 coilovers with Deavers in the rear because I enjoy setting money on fire. :bananadead:
