2012 DTRL (4157nak) special socket?

    Had a problem replacing the dtrl's; couldn't get 4157nak but got 3757nak. HOWEVER the base wouldn't fit in dtrl socket.

    Also tried 3157 from another car, which also looks the same but still wouldn't fit. ( I tried led's but they burned up in about a year and switched back to the oem's.)
    So I took the plastic bases off the failing oem bulbs and installed the 3757nak glass portion; a pain to do but work (even though they are half the life)

    Anyone else had this fit issue?
