    Hello everyone,

1995 Tacoma with V6/5VZ-FE engine and 6 speed manual transmission.

I am having an issue where the clutch pedal does not return to normal after being pressed in. I snapped a few pictures, it appears that white plastic piece might be broken?

Here are a few pics. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

If it is staying on the Floor after your foot is removed .

It might be one or two things .

That big ugly spring that acts as the return spring the plastic bushings go bad causing it to hang up

Your clutch is working just fine other then that??

The other thing would be clutch Hydraulics then it would grind and make a noise trying to get into any gear

A few different fixes mine was just remove that big spring replace with a brake return spring of a mid eighties 4x4 Toyota pick up.

Been a few years now no problems

Likely a bad master or slave cylinder.

THIS. It is fairly easy to rmeove the clutch peddle assembly, you should be able to operate it outside of the truck, it should return with the spring. If not I would suspect something wrong there, or terribly wrong with the hydraulics.
