Back to the Future Tail lights

I know Toyota made a set for their throwback mcfly build, but other than that they are unobtanium. Would anyone want to see a set done up like this?
My rendering is not 100% Replica-accurate (Brake/Turn are swapped, but I think this works better for our lights)

I just wanted a reference picture, and I understand these taillights are upside down. Those look great @mesojdm . What'll he come up with next?!

 

I like them. I'm sure they will cost about 4 times more than I'd ever be willing to pay for tail lights though lol

Yeah, the colors are flipped, not sure if anyone would really notice. But it makes the retro easier, and I like the turn signal at the bottom section.

Interested. Would like to see some installed if you do make these. Oh and price, do you purchase new ones then modify, buy knock-offs then modify, or send you ours then send them back sort of details if enough people are interested.

I only use OEM Toyota housings. They would be too time consuming to mass produce, I just want to build a set to see what they would look like. Was trying to get people's opinion if switching the brake/turn looked too bad compared to the originals.

What would you consider to be a reasonable price than? (P.S: look at prices of retrofitted headlights..which are a lot less work BTW)

 

I like the turn signal on the bottom like you have it and the red on top. Looks better to me.

It's not that you are overcharging. It's that it's just too much for tail lights. I love your work, but I can't be spending that much on tails. You clearly have a market, I'm just not in it. If you were to do a cheaper version of your tails that provides amber turn signals without having hundreds of LEDs, I would be all over it. You are a perfectionist though, so I don't see it happening.
