Good Buy or not - $350 OBO Built Retros (2005-2011)

    Found on local craigslist ad a set of built retrofits for 350.00 obo. Guy said he would take 300 to meet me or 250 if I came to him (about an 1.5 hr drive)

    What you guys think on these?

    Ad states:
    Built headlights for 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma. Has HID's in the projector. Have all the wiring. $350 OBO

    dangit.....I did not notice that before!!! I have not bought or committed to buy, but if they fogged up on me I would be extremely ticked!

    The seller also said on the 2nd photo that is just a glare not a scratch, but I'm not convinced.

    He also was not the original owner / builder of the retros , he said he did not know if they leaked/fogged because he only had them on a few days and did not like them on his truck....

    asked about the first pic having moisture buildup and got this new angle pic and this response....Here's the one you just asked about the moisture. I cleaned them that day and didn't get all of it off. Like I said, I only had them in for a few hours that day

    I'd also make sure they are oem housings.
    I bought a pair from a member after searching a long time. Paid $50 and $50 shipping. Came with 1 broken tab.:smack:

    Then i did bhlm to them and installed.
    I plan to retrofit my original ones once i save up enough cash now that I have experience from opening the other pair up for the bhlm.

    The guy now said he would take $200 for them. I am just afraid they will leak he said they didn't but he only had gen on his truck a very short time. It would just frustrate me to no end to put them in and then leak. I have seen some guys that put in the silica packs but isn't that before hey put the lens back onto the housing or can I still use some?
