I'm highly likely to pull the trigger on some Method NV's shortly.

I found this video on youtube - I really wish Method offered these in a non beadlock version. It's like the NV's, but with the middle recessed like the Vex:

What size tire do you think SEMOAK is running? They are BFG K02 with SCS SR8 wheels.

I've been dead set on NV's for the longest time but couldn't get passed the chrome (zinc plated actually, so gold colored) bolts that surround the fake beadlock. Welp, I'm gonna give powder coating each bolt a shot and hope for the best. Each one also has a zinc washer.. I'm hoping that skipping the washer and using some blue loctite will be sufficient. Thoughts?

Could almost rock them without the bolts altogether.. there's bare metal inside though so I'd worry it's start as a chipping point for the paint and work its way outwards.

I sanded the black paint with 220 by hand, cleaned, taped, and painted with 3 coats of regular white. 1 good coat of duplicolor 040 super white, and 3 coats of clear. Al with aerosol cans so I can touch up easier. Thanks BTW I figured most folks would thonk I was stupid color mayching the wheels but almost every white vehicle around here has black heels and I was tired of blending in. I like the black wheels I just wanted something different. There's pics and a write up in my build on pg 19

    I like it

My Pro has black wheels on cement

I want to do white on my white gen 1, go for the 80s look

My only issue is how bad is upkeep ok the white wheels from brake dust

The white does show brake dust which is why I sprayed 3 coats of clear A: to make easier to clean and B: to help prevent any staining from mud or brake dust. So far so good They do get washed or wiped down everytime the truck gets cleaned which rt now is about everyday. I've been sitting at home recovering from shoulder surgery so it gives me something to mess with and I don't like to leave the stuff the oak trees around my house drop on the truck
