I paid 36,579 for my off road dcsb with tech package, predator tube steps, all weather mats, sill protectors and jbl brand new. I would try and get it down a couple thousand or go for a new one.

They don't budge until it sits x days, then they get all flexible and 'reprice'.

Find the sales manager. Give him your name and number. Tell him to call when he's ready to get realistic pricing.

When he says 'it may be gone' your reply is 'or when you call, I may have found something better'.

The best way to ever get price is be willing to walk away.

Well, I officially joined the TacomaWorld family yesterday...

    TACO_zpsgprlwxxz_8c05ec6a29deb30e1bc4775c5d4c0432686ecf56.jpg

Picked up this 17' DBCB and love it so far. Double Cab, TRD Off-Road, Premium & Tech Package, Tow Package, 2 in 1 LED Projector Fog Lights with LED DRLs, Clear Paint Protection, TOYOGUARD Platinum, **All Weather Mats (See below)**, & Phone Cable & Charger Package. It was a long process and took alot of negotiating (specifically around my trade-in), but got OTD @ 35k.

Time to get started on scouring the forum on what Mods/Builds I want to follow. Anything I do will be pretty moderate until its paid off, but then... I'll be having some fun with this thing!

Thanks for all the advice I received from everyone from this forum. While I paid a little more than the listed '16 in the original post, I am very happy with a new vehicle with a seat that hadn't been farted on... (Shout out to @mangler). Thanks to everyone who helped me determine it would be better to purchase a new vehicle... I am very happy with my purchase!

Tiger I think you made a smart choice, i look at it like this, when buying a year old vehicle with 10-15k on the clock your going to pay about what you would get for a similar brand new vehicle, drove it around the block and traded it in. The dealer has to make profit at your expense. If you are going to buy a late model used vehicle, get one about 35yrs old, just out of bumper to bum per warrenty, or lease turn in. JMHO.

Around here a brand new fairly loaded Sport is going to be about $35K. I don't know what they run in OP's neck-of-the-woods, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather shell out an extra $3K and get a new one.

The price isnt too bad, but i paid 32800 total for my 2016 double cab long bed trd offroad with premium tech, it had 4900 miles on it without a tonneau cover. There should be a used off road for similar pricing. Always a better deal out there. I waited for 6 months before this deal came around and its already been 9 months since i got it.
