Just stick them in between the reflector and housing. There's just enough room to slide them in hole in the back of the housing where you install the bulb if you already have them assembled. I don't have a picture though.

Is the 15% discount still ongoing? I'm thinking about getting me a kit soon
Also does it ship out only when 10 are ordered?

Question for y'all- I send TRS an email already but it's the holiday weekend and I wanna make my order!

If I want to put in RGB front and rear halos on the shroud AND RGB demon eye- how will all these be controlled? I do need a separate controller for each one?

I don't plan to make them all different colors at once, but would like the options to mix and match since I don't know what I"ll like best.

    Thanks y'all.

They would run off one remote if you buy morimoto for all three. What you could do is get the morimoto halos front and rear controlled by one remote and the acme demon eyes that comes with a separate remote. This is what I like to do cuz no Point in getting a demon eye if it's gonna be the same color as halos

So finally found the manual for the bluetooth controller. You can just select which channel changes with it! Perfect, only 1 controller is needed

Just finished my retrofit and have only ran the light for about 20 minutes but both lights started to flicker like a candle. Everything is tight, all grounds are good and all connections are good. The flickering seems to be coming from the bulb itself. Is that something that goes away after running them for a while or are the bulbs crap?

Being lazy with 285 pg thread. Can someone tell me where I can find side by side night shots of stock vs retro? Not sure if the cut off is what I'm looking for.

    @TRSAndrew , @TRSJimmy

I got the RGB Halos, the new setup with the Bluetooth controller. I was reading through another thread Jimmy was posting in about wiring his switchbacks for turn signals and how it needs a certain voltage to turn them yellow.

My question is with these RGB halos is there a way I can have them automatically turn yellow instead of white? The bluetooth controller defaults to white when the truck turns on, really wish I could get them to default to yellow/amber. Any ideas?

Any recommendations on replacing the lens alone and then getting a retrofit kit?

Both of my headlamps have cracks in them and I really don't want to buy 2 new 200 dollar plus assembly's and a retrofit kit. Does anyone know of the aftermarket OE are a near perfect fit?

Would it be worth just getting 2 of those and getting rid of my OE housings just swapping the lens, or would I be way better off just getting OE from Toyota? I thought it was me hitting rocks on those lens but it seems every tacoma has cracked lights I see around me and my truck only has 40-50k miles as a 07 and is always garage kept.

Are you talking about the DTRL lenses? If so, unfortunately, it sounds like you never got notified of the free headlight replacement w/glass lenses under the warranty enhancement. You're not the only one :( I have looked for glass lenses to rebuild stock headlights but never came across anything. Decided to go 2012-2015 front-end conversion instead

Sand blasted the chrome parts and got them ready for paint. Can I use isopropyl alcohol 70% to clean the surfaces before spraying them with Krylon Fusion spray paint? 20170702_165003.jpg 20170702_165016.jpg

Nice- opening mine tomorrow. Yes you can, Acetone would be my first choice though. Unless you already have Primer on it, not sure what the white is. If you have primer on it use the alcohol 70%

Rubbing alcohol works well for prep, same does Windex.
