    Yes this is possible. I've done it on a form that was lost by ATF. Resubmitted and then they found the other one after the second form went through. We just picked a totally different silencer, put it on the form, bam done.

    They should be able to contact NFA branch and inform them they need to correct the serial number on the form. It'll get sent back for correction. It'll ad maybe a month max to the time.

    Good to know. Hopefully mine wasn't one of the stolen ones. I just don't want to start the wait over again. I bought them in August.

    The NFA is unconstitutional and unreasonable. I don't comply with their rules. I'll just leave it at that. :D:laser:

    What was the last in-transit scan information of location and carrier I would want that info and they have to surrender it

    The Postal Service has a procedure to follow with all mail and if they failed about any point compensation can follow. I got our mail carrier fired for continually delivering our mail to the same digit but different street over 12 times.... FIRED!

    Phew! Yea if the card was charged by the NFA I think youre golden! Call back in three weeks and they should have something for you. To me it sounds like the Postal Service just derped and didnt scan it.

    lol didn't even know you created this @Sleipnir

    SBR

    Form 1 filed: 8/22/16

    Check cashed/CC charged
    : 8/27/16
    Tax stamp approved: 7/14/17 :bananadead:
    Tax stamp received: 7/29/17:woot::brianr:

    This was filed when they were still saying 6 month wait times, then turned to 8, then turned to 10. I was off on my times so I'm 6 days away from 10 months of waiting.
    I would always call right around the 27th every month to check and see. I don't know how many times I was told "Were still on the first week of July" :annoyed:

    Thanks lol the ATF needs to hire some more peaps though, 28 "stampers" for 100k+ Forms, not a good combo
