So I wound up going with the Bilstein 6112 and 5160 combo. Rides absolutely fantastic. I went with the 265 KO2s and it looks really good. However, in the future I will certainly step up to 285s. I agree that the 285s do put it over the top.

Did you end up with any rake? The picture looks like you might have some slight rake but sometimes pictures are deceiving in that regard. I am hoping to end up with about .5" to 1" of rake on mine. Truck looks awesome, btw! I am impatiently saving up for my 6112/5160 lift!

I am looking at this same kit. Where did you end up getting a yours from? Did you do a rear diff drop?

What did you do for the rear? AAL or a leaf pack? love the look, just what I'm looking for, with .5" to 1" of rake.

I am still stock. Did you intend to ask Gecko 01? He used the Wheelers 3 leaf AAL, I believe. That is the route I plan to go as well.

Installed Bilsteins today set at 0.65" up front and now my RWD is perfectly level at 21.5" fender edge to wheel center on all 4 corners. No lean.

Proud of my set-up....so posting it around today. I cant miss putting it in this sub!

3-1/4" Front with Bilstein Gen. 2 5100s (set to 0), OME 888 coils, and LR Upper Control Arms
2" Rear with Headstrong Progressive AAL with Overload still in
4Runner TRD Pro wheels (I believe 17x7 or 8?) Im thinking of getting SpiderTrax 1-1/4" wheel spacers....
BF Goodrich 275/70/17 K"Bro"2 tires (just under 33")

    Hello,

Anyone running this set up from Headstrong offroad?

    2FBilstein_5100_Kit_%28HS16BK-1%29.html

Bilstien 5100 all around, OME 888 coils and 3AAL option in the rear? I want to run 285/70 R17 but I'm worried about rubbing. Anyone have experience with Headstrong and this size tire on this particular setup? Think it comes with the 1/4 spacer to correct the lean on the driver side. They want $740 for parts, is that good price?

    Thanks for any reply

This is my exact kit. Except I added the LR upper control arm. It is an awesome deal! I also bought toytec sway bar relocation. Sadly, I only have 275/70/17, but I should've done the 285 for the looks.

Nice setup! You have plenty of clearance with the 275/70s

With how much lift I got (about 3-1/4" after settle), I would HIGHLY suggest UCAs. If you don't get them, your rig will track poorly and feel skittish due to not being able to get a proper alignment. The Light Racing UCA are the least expensive and have the awesome articulation (I did a ton of research on their angles/degrees of motion vs uniball UCAs). ALL coils will settle. However I think mine only settled just over 1/4". Zero issues with 275/70/17, and they are on "stock" toyota rims. I wouldn't see too much of an issue except in extreme cases off road with 285s, or if you don't do a UCA where they can properly adjust your tire position.

Thank you for the info! If I go with 887 you think I need the uac's I don't mind if I had to run 275/70/17

I really like how that looks. I want to go with the same setup.
What notch setting did you go with on the coil overs?
Did you have to upgrades UCAs?
