I purchased a new Taco in March and want to have a printed factory manual. One would think I could just saunter into my local dealer and lay out some cash but nooooooo. I had to go to AZ to buy this vehicle (I live in So Cal) because the 40 or 50 dealers in CA from El Cajon to Sacramento I searched inventory for didn't have my truck (Tacoma Access cab, Silver, auto trans, 6' bed, 4x4, minimal trim) and the link for this the dealer provided ain't there. Likewise with HelmInc. I hate to pay a "subscription fee" for any online service as I have experienced advice like "remove faulty part and replace" or "refer to manual". I already have an issue as I dented the plastic rear bumper piece and don't even know how to remove the piece to bang it out or replace it. I took my truck in today for the rear differential recall (Toyota has yet to inform me) as I intend to put 5000 miles on it next month. The parts guy at the dealer couldn't access the Toyota manual and hasn't called me as he said he would. Help!
