Sounds good to me. Way better than the going price around here.
I bought mine out of state. I got an off road DCSB 4x4 MT with tow, steps, window tint, and some kind of exterior coating that was probably a gimmick. Paid $32,509.

I am going to try to answer all of the above questions. I'm new at the forum stuff so I don't know if a mass post is the best to do.

Not a brag post, a "did I get fucked by someone again and waste my time". I ask the question in my original post if the 3 weeks of haggleing was worth it in y'alls opinion.

MSRP was $37,200. Dealer fee was $189. Tax, Tag, and Title will be around $2000k.

Bottom line, if i would of spent less time haggleing and more on the truck, I would be saying that I got ripped off. Instead of saying that I think I got a good price but it wasn't worth 3 weeks of my time. It's a wash for me I suppose.

Pretty good deal. Got the same truck with all your features plus premium and tech package at 36k even... for most people, your financing rate is the other half of the deal. too many idiots jumping into new vehicles with good credit at 3% or higher. usually the stealership will fight you on one or the other, as long as they win one side of the deal (msrp vs. financing rate)

Haha no no, just providing my opinion as requested. He's happy with it which is all that matters. It just isn't worth it for me.

I saved nearly 4k off MSRP. One email, and one 10 minute phone call. The main reason is because I have purchased several vehicles from the same senior salesman. Straight shooter that doesn't play games.

One of the reasons there are no games is because I am fully informed on what I want, MSRP and invoice price knowledge, before sending email or making a call. That and I generally work on some of the other dealers first to see what the market is like.

If none of them budge on price, I wait. I know in Texas, supply will eventually catch up with demand. Other regions aren't so lucky. It's MSRP or higher (generally).

Nice price imo, especially with tow and 5" step (and floor mats). I like your price, but I like even better what @aksel paid for his, with premium and tech package.
I think I'm going to start on my emails like tomorrow... or as soon as I'll figure out if I really need premium and technology, or just want it... especially that it usually come with bunch of extras I couldn't care less about

Don't mean to threadjack but where do you find the emails for dealerships? I know there's a section that says contact us where you put your name and email, do you direct it to sales?

New about all of this 'dealer emails' thing (hence crappy deal on my current lease)... good question @Taconator_ . I looked over my open tabs with vehicles I would consider, and the only way to contact the dealerships is through their online inquiry. Is that what you did?

Oh boy, after reading this you all are making me feel like I got scammed out the ass...

I paid just under 45k for my 17 OR DCSB with premium tech, chrome running boards, and katzkin seats. I am paying 495/mo on a 4yr lease with a 25k buyout at the end...

Also, just realized my window sticker says "Carpet floors mats-$299.99", guess whose truck came with no floor mats at all?

Do katzkin seats really add $4500 to the price of the truck?? Hell, I didn't even care for leather seats. Fuck.

I bought the same truck as you only in silver and minus the mats and seals for 32.2 in Dec of 16. I feel like I got a really good price, so I would put you in the good price category.

Well, since I don't have a Taco yet, maybe I shouldn't disagree or agree about your current deal... which might not look as good as some deals around here ( or designated What did you pay for your 3rd gen thread), but everyone had some kind of deal made for them... better or worse. For instance, I currently have a quite a shitty deal on my Exploder lease... where I "traded" my (still missed) '04 Explder Eddie Bauer... Just one more payment... and I can give it back to that f***ing dealership.

I really hope you're enjoying your taco, as I cant wait long enough to get one for myself...

Edit: Found and fixed another typo.

Thanks for the post man. You're right. I absolutely love my taco. Even though I am paying an arm and a leg for it, I catch myself looking outside the window at work starring at it sometimes. I always hated Tacomas up until a month or two before getting mine but it really has grown on me and I see myself keeping it for a long long time. If you're willing to take any advice from me, it's this. Find yourself the one that you are in love with and get a good deal on it. Don't get caught up on the first one you see like I did and end up paying way more than you should. Thinking back now, I probably should have gone with a Sport over the Off Road... I love the hood scoop on them and I don't think I will ever use the locking rear diff or crawl control on my Off Road. Yes, it's good to have it and not need it over vice versa but I also could've saved at least 100 bucks a month for the next 5-10 years while I pay it off had I given it more though/slept on my options. I constantly find myself reading page upon page on here about people complaining about this or that about the 3rd gen (mostly transmission/engine) and while it's true... it could be much better than it is... once I get behind the wheel or I take my buddies through some trails and we rip the crap out of it, I can't help my smile and fall more and more in love with my little turtle. Good luck finding yours! Definitely post pics once you do!!!

I have nearly the identical config to yours except mine came with the tonneau cover and tinted windows. I did not get the Katzkin seats.

You notice the extra sticker? They tacked on 5k for pure profit.

You don't want to know what I paid...
