    Some done, many to be done!
    I bought a new Toyota 3/4ton P'Up back in '83 and damn near couldn't kill the thing ultimately did though when the 3rd Gen came out I had to have one.

    To date I have done some "personalization" however I am far from done, my goal is to build a one-of-a-kind or at least my idea of one Tacoma.

    Build list...

    What's done;
    1) OEM LED bed lights using a Double Cab's on-off-auto cargo light switch
    2) Tailgate Pop & Lock
    3) Weathertech FloorLiner's F/R
    4) OEM Bed Mat
    5) Weathertech In-Window Channel Window Deflectors
    6) OEM (Limited) Homelink Mirror
    7) LED bulbs, fog (2700K), tail lights, turn signals f/r, side marker, CHMSL, tag and reverse
    8) Pulse Protect CHMSL pulsing module
    9) RedLine Tuning's QuickLIFT Plus gas hood struts (only have body mounts in place until Sport hood gets installed. The struts are in the white cardboard tube in the back.
    10) Reflective vinyl applique in tailgate
    11) LLumar tint all around, 80% on windshield, rear slider, rear doors with 30% on drivers/passenger windows, makes a HUGE difference in heat reflection!
    12) TRD Cold Air Intake
    13) TRD Cat-back Exhaust
    14) TRD Oil Filler Cap
    15) TRD Radiator Cap
    16) Fumoto F103SX oil drain valve
    17) OEM (metal) oil filter housing
    18) TRD Oil Filter
    19) TRD Air Filter
    20) Northstar NSB AGM/27F battery
    21) Hellwig heavier/thicker front sway bar, made a tremendous improvement in controlling body roll
    22) Katzkin custom leather seats w/custom embroidery on headrests
    23) GoPro Hero5 Session
    24) Grill egg crate only, blacked out w/PPG flat black and matte clear coat
    25) Entune display screen protector

    What's in the paint shop;

    1) TRD Sport Hood w/scoop
    2) Custom cut/fit and engraved Dawn Ent. bodyside molding

    What's inbound arriving 1st week Feb '17;

    1) Nitto LT285/70R17/C Ridge Grapplers
    2) FN Konig 17x8 Six Shooter Wheels
    3) OME BP51 2" Lift Kit with UCA's
    4) Hellwig Rear Sway Bar
    5) StopTech 6-Piston Front and 4-Piston rear disc brakes
    6) OEM TRD 4.30 gears F/R
    7) WeatherTech License plate frame/cover
    8) Bushwacker pocket fender flares in hopes they'll cover the new tire poke-out if not something custom will be made

    What's going to happen;

    1) I am working with a local fabricator to design and build mandrel drawn side steps/fully functional sliders w/kickouts/air reservoirs that look exactly like the black 5" oval side steps currently installed. Not easy by any means but absolutely doable.
    2) ARB Twin onboard air compressor using Slee OffRoad Mounting Plate
    3) Working with same fabricator to design and build a hidden winch mount that is like nothing currently in existence
    4) Install Warn Zeon 10-s Platinum winch in custom hidden winch mount
    5) Working with a custom shop to create headlights and tail lights that again are like nothing currently in existence
    6) Waiting on a wrecked Double Cab to pop up in a junk yard so I can remove the cargo lamp and graft into my roof.
    7) Will be adding a Hi-lift jack and ground anchor with custom carrier to support both in bed
    8) Will be adding shovel/axe/machete in custom carrier in bed
    9) Install Baja Designs S8 light bar stealth under grill
    10) Working with custom shop to design and create ditch light mounting location like nothing currently in existence
    11) Custom front skid plate similar to TRD Pro that allows oil filter change without removal
    12) Other things that don't currently exist in North American market but do exist with Toyota factory parts being available. I am working with a group very interested in Taco's and some of my ideas, hopefully they'll all work out and may eventually be available in the aftermarket only time will tell...

    I actually like it a LOT! The Atkinson cycle engine has a very distinct sound to it, once I installed the TRD exhaust it sounds completely different. It isn't overbearing or very loud but definitely throatier it combined with the TRD CAI made a big change in tone. Ironically my MPG increased in the city to an average of 18.3mpg haven't had it out on the highway much to determine a change there although I expect a decrease once the new wheel/tire combo get mounted. I'm going from a 31" OAD to a 33" even though I'll be changing my gears from 3.91 to 4.30 we'll see though. But yeah I highly recommend the TRD cat-back exhaust plus TRD CAI...

    Awesome, good to hear, can't wait to be able to pick this up, the TRD exhaust for the DCLB has been on stop sale or unavailable for order for the past 2 months. I had the TRD exhaust on my 2nd gen 4.0L, by itself it was pretty tame, however with my K&N Intake, at high RPM I think it scared cars next to me :) Went with the TRD CAI this time around, the K&N was too much and had issues with passing smog here in CA when I hit my 6 years.

    I don't think you'll be disappointed, it was a breeze to install too, didn't even jack the truck up but the two rear rubber hangers on the muffler were a PITA to get off you will have to wrestle with those, it took me about 45 minutes to remove the OEM and install the TRD in the dark with only a POS led flashlight.

    Looks good OP, just in the wrong section. Needs to be in the build forum, you can report the thread and just state it needs moved.

    No worries man. Easy fix, just click the report button on your original post and state it needs moved to the 3rd gen builds section. :thumbsup:
