that is a decent beater truck... but 500 more than I would spend on the purchase plus shipping or getting it would be another couple 100...

find one for 500 on long island!!! nearly impossible, there is a big lawn care industry on long island, all the decent ones have been purchased by workers & laborers.

I'm not sure yet. I have an AC so putting the kid in and out of the car seat isn't ideal. Problem is I still use the truck and its bed a lot and it is paid off. So trying to figure out if its worth to just get a family truck/suv. I have a RTT sitting around so I might want to hold on to the rack. They're from Eddy at SOS Offload Concepts.

The only thing really holding me back on the cap is days where I need the height in the back. From what I've read, you really can't remove them by yourself

yep this is the atv motorcycle cap issue i was explaining, the height is a limiting factor, i would consider a high top cap

I pulled mine off myself, i lifted it like a turtle, plus inside my storage are i turtle backed it a few other times, but yea it at the least need two people for lifting off the ground and placing it on the bed rails, once you have it balanced on the rails you can move it back and forth fairly easily

I'm out of the cap game for now. Been using my truck for construction at the house so NOT having a cap as actually been a blessing.
