So Since you have had time to drive around quite a bit. What is your thoughts on not running UCA's ? Any problems since installing the lift ? Any feed back would be cool BC I'm about to order the same lift except I'll be running OME 885's which are similar to the 521600 toytec coils. LMK neighbor

 

If you don't mind could you get a center hub to bottom fender measurement I'm just curious I'm at 22.5 up front thanks

 

Nice truck for sure! I am installing the 521600 springs with 1/4 spacers just to try and make sure i dont have alignment issues with my 2014 cc. So, am i to understand from what i have read, that you used the 521600 coils and 1/2 spacers, with no correction for driver side lean?thanks for this thread....

Very nice build! I read all of the posts on your thread over the last few days. I found this post because I am researching different suspension options for my next truck. I currently have a 2008 SR-5 Prerunner DCSB (owned it since January 2012, excellent truck) & my wife & I bought a 2016 4Runner Trail for her last September. I plan to sell my truck by the end of this year & will be purchasing a 2015 4x4 DCSB SR-5, Off-Road, or Sport. My Prerunner has a Maxtrac Spindle lift & I know that for a 4x4 that won't work.

I like your set-up very much. Only thing I will change for me is that I may just install the front springs without the 1/2" spacer. I am basically just looking for 2"'s of lift front/back. I'm also deciding between the Ivan Stewart wheels (PTR20-34070) with 265/75r16 "E" BFG A/T K02's or a set of 17" 7-spoke 4Runner Trail wheels (like the ones on my wifes 4Runner) with 265/70r17 "C" BFG A/T K02's .

Has your suspension settled over time? Are you still at 2.75"'s of front lift?
I know that I can set the 5100's at 1.75 with the OEM springs & a 1/4 spacer but that will shorten the spring travel & may ride more stiff than using lift coils with 5100's at "0".

I read that you have a bit of take-off vibe. I've had it for over 5 years & 96,000 miles. I've driven to the Smoky Mountains a few times, Atlanta, Stone Mountain, GA. I live in Miami so you can imagine the mileage driving to those places, HAHAHAHA. I also have a 3/8" CB drop spacer installed. My PreRunner is lifted 4"'s out back & 4.5"s out front. The take-off-vibe hasn't damaged anything & no one ever notices it so it's minor.

I have the same springs. I am currently sitting at 2'' of lift WITH a 1/2'' spacer. I also have shrockworks sliders (same sliders the OP has) that may have brought the front down a tad. Moral of the story, put the spacers in because without them you'll get less than 2''. I don't really know where Toytec got their 2.5'' numbers from to be honest.

Not doubting what your saying but could it be possible that you have the ToyTec 1.6" springs instead of the 2.5" springs? Just asking since OP stated that 8 months after the initial install his truck is at 2.75"'s of lift up front with the spacer as well. How long have you had your springs on your truck?

Thanks! Unless they printed the wrong number on the coils mine are the 521600 2.5''. Maybe I just got a bad set, I'm not sure, but thats my personal experience with them. Ive been running them for around two years.

If that's the number posted then that's good enough for me. Hahhaah. Every truck seems to be a bit different.

Yesterday I saw a Tacoma at my job with Bilstein 6112's at the 3rd setting (about 2"'s for a 4x4) and the guy said he's very happy with them. I may look into those as well
