Think hard about getting the 2.7 URD kit this summer and just wondering if it would fit the new 2016+ Tacomas with the 2.7 with some minor mods maybe? The engine is the same so should it not be close at least?

Great question. The 16+ 2.7 now has dual VVTi like the V6 in the 4Runner.

The area where we mount our bracket looks a little different. Not sure if our bracket will bolt up. If it does everything else is very simple.

If anyone is near URD in Southern Maryland that can stop by for about an hour one day and let me test fit the bracket it would be very helpful.

Would be sweet to know. I would rather buy a supercharger kit then buying a whole other 2nd gen V6. I can tow my camper with the 2.7 anyways just hard sometimes on long trips

Do you not realize that it fits fine on your 2011? The fitment of a 2016+ is in question.

The new engine is a little different. We have already finished the hard part. The mounting bracket and belt drive is done. Parts made an on hand.

I just need access to a truck to mount the intercooler and piping.

Also, for this one we want to test our plug and play self tuning UCON-EMS.

If all goes well we can start shipping kits pretty fast.

I may have missed it, but do you currently offer (or in the works) a forced induction solution for the 16+ tacoma v6?

We are going to prototype a system and see how well the Atkinson Cycle takes to supercharging. I can't find a reference anywhere where it has been done. It is either going to work fantastic or be a complete dude.
