If you're brave or crazy, you could just go without a sway bar. Or you could buy a new end link + CV axle and install yourself/bribe a TW buddy with frosty beverages to help. Either way, good research and the right tools and it can be done in a couple hours.

I did CV axles a couple weeks ago, other than getting the new one past the c clip, I didnt have any issues... the 108 degree weather didn't help.

I would personally just replace the cv axle and remove the sway bar.

I've been running with no sway bar for a few months. I'm not sure if a 6 inch is extremely different. Also, aggressive driving can be a bit scarier without sway bars.

no sway bar means you get to slow down and not take corners fast.

The new axle is 30 minute job. Don't go cheap get OEM and you will need a 32 or 35 mm socket (look it up or call Toyota)
Removal of sway bar is maybe 10.

    35mm or a 36 will work
