    Looks good. I went with a RC 2" spacer lift since I wanted it more for looks and I don't do what most of TW does for off-roading. I agree that the ride might be a tad stiffer, but Tacos are rough rides anyways.

    Did you notice any change in your camber? I swear my wheels have a slight positive camber to them now.

    It's not totally unbelievable that he doesn't rub, but the issue arises over bumps, turns, etc. Once the tire gets pushed into the wheel well, that's when you have the potential to rub. I'm not saying a CMC is a guarantee, but be prepared that it may come to that. Rubbing on the cab mount and not doing anything about can potentially damage the tires.
    I think that's the most logical thing to do! You get the beefy look, don't have to worry about rubbing, and have a lot more money for other mods.
    The gunmetal SR8s is what I had on my 2nd gen!! It looked extremely good, and got many compliments on them. They're not horribly expensive either, but just hard to acquire.
    I read the first post, said "No way" then read the second one as an explanation. I still have a really hard time believing Load C weighs more than a Load E, but if that's what Nitto is saying, there's no way to dispute that.

    I wonder what their return policy is like, or if there's a brick and mortar store that sells them. Then I could put them on a scale and see with my own two eyes.

    seems best prices are online anyway.

    sucks cuz i would like to see them in person compared to the duratrac's side by side

    I haven't the slightest idea, and I honestly haven't been looking. I just picked up some Cooper st maxx (very similar to the ridge grappler imo) and am very pleased with them.

    @EatSleepTacos,
    I hear ya on all accounts :cheers:. Yes, I have made up my mind. I'm definitely going with the 265/70r17s. For all the main reasons that apply to me and my needs. Mainly because after looking around on this great forum I realized that I kinda like how that size fills the wheel wells better. It's more of the look I was going ftor. At one point I was considering lowering to achieve it.

    I'm also sold on the SCS Ray 10 now. LOL. I know, I'm all over the place. I want them in either the Brushed Copper or Dark Matte Bronze.

    Both are sold out on their site. I sent a message on their site and sub'd to their notice thread on the forum. The Brushed Copper are so unique and I think would look great on a non lifted TRD Sport Inferno. :headbang: But I'll settle for the bronze. :thumbsup:

    If you have an inside track I'd appreciate a kind word to them for me. :bowdown:

    The only advice I can give on the SCS is to stay vigilant!!! Their last shipment sold out within like ten minutes, so you've got to be on top of your game. Also go sub to their blemished wheel thread. A great way to save some money and the blemishes are so miniscule, you can't even notice them! Good luck in your searching.

    So i noticed how close the tires were to the UCA the next day. I just added 1.5" spacers to increase clearance. In turn, I had to do some trimming to the front. The rear of the tire also rubs slightly on the frame. So that is something to think about. Maybe doing a 1" spacer would have been the way to go to get the clearance and have less rubbing...

    Check out the CMC, or cab mount chop. It's very common with 285s and making them not rub.

    Hey Guys, I wanted to post back on my final decision. @EatSleepTacos and a couple other guys really helped and led me in the right direction. I ultimately decided to go with a 265/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grappler to save some money by not needing a lift with this tire. I also got lucky as heck and snagged some Limited Edition Brushed Copper Ray 10s from another member on the forum that just didn't like the look on his Inferno Pro. Lucky for me because I think the setup looks great on my Inferno Sport. I did have some rubbing on the drivers side mud flap that I might revisit to try to remedy but for now I just removed them all. Anyway, for now I'm happy with the ride and look but later (when the 265s wear out) I might go with some 285s and then do a lift. Here's the result........

    Thanks to all of you that helped me make the right choice for me. This forum really is great!
