    enough to have fun
I used a fork mount once, but then I had a fox 40 on my demo 8. I got tired of those 4 bolts plus the thru bolt lol. Good point though, fork mount will be much lower profile, but I prefer to keep my dirty bike dirty and the front wheel on haha (not put the dirty front wheel in the cab).

If you didn't have the rubber trim it would definitely do damage to the paint if it was touching but I don't think it moves enough with the trim on it to do any damage. I haven't noticed any at least.

Yeah sorry I was talking about the trim. The wind deflector itself would definitely scratch it.

Wind deflector is rubber, shouldn't do any harm

I have had the edge trim on mine for some time touching the paint, and with the vinyl wrap on the truck. The rubber itself wont hurt either, but if you get dust and debris built up under the rubber it can cause issues. Just make sure to clean under it on occasion and you will be fine.

It's seems to vary greatly. I have never had much noise personally, others find it very noisy. Not sure if it is different climatic conditions (such as a windy area) or if some people are just more sensitive to it.

Only noise I've got is from my Plano case, not the rack itself. But I'm sure my MTs will drown it out haha

Out of curiousity, has anyone mounted a 50 inch light bar with the rack? My light bar is actually 52 inches in width from BD, but curious if there is a solid way to mount on this without chopping up my current roof light bar mounts?

I haven't seen it done personally but I would maybe mount it to the windfaring. Another option would be to mount it on top of the first crossbar (doesn't seem ideal to me cause it wouldn't look as clean)

That is what I was thinking of doing is having it across the wind fairing, but I could also have it elevated an inch or two in front of it as well.

Thanks man, after taking a look I think I will have to modify my current light bar mounts to fit as it seems that is essentially what Zach did for that guy. If he does make any pieces for this, that would be cool though. It looks like a one off from what I gather though.
