No. Thats my fathers truck. What the airstream will be behind once its done. Frame is just next to it while i have @Muddinfun wheels and tires in my bed. Then the frame and rear end are going over to the shop to start sticking some steel together.

Tigerfoam is expensive and a PITA, but it works really well for temp and sound control. There are a few spots i missed when spraying, but they are mostly behind cabinets or behind the body ribs.

Got the bars put together and mocked up. Ill chop the ends off the housing tomorrow and see if I can get the back brace tacked on.

Didnt get nearly as much done today as I wanted. Had to put in a call to the VA to get scheduled to be seen for my back again.
Anyway, housing is centered with the brackets tacked on. Made a back brace to fit, and mocked up the shocks/mounts.

Brackets welded on. Back brace started.

Back brace fully welded. Lower shock mounts welded on. Still need to cut and weld on the 45* support bars and the back straps for the link brackets. Housing moves nicely without the shocks on.

Welded the back straps on and cleaned it up a little.

Built the panhard bar/housing bracket. Started out as a piece of 2x4 steel. Center brace is a piece of DOM that I had leftover from another project. It'll get welded to the housing after I finalize the height.

I'd pony up the $2k and get a lift. I love mine.

I use mine for everything. If you got a bad back, there is another reason to have one.IMG_20170208_225437.jpg

That is something I am thinking about out on my property after I get the initially buildings done.

Welp, starting the process of building the frame. Right now, Im getting the rails square and even with the back half. A bit of a PITA since my nice jig welded backhalf has a slightly twisted front crossmember, but Ive got everything square up and level front-back/side-side/corner-corner.
Ill get the front section on after I have backhalf and rails together. That way I can adjust wheelbase as needed.
