I'll start this build thread off by saying I am a long time lurker, and finally decided to make the plunge and start building the truck up. I am a college student working part-time while going to school, so there will be sporadic times where I ball out on truck parts, then eat Top Ramen for 6 months.

    Truck was purchased on 11/21/16.

    Tow Package
    TRD Performance Exhaust
    TRD Air Filter

    Bed Mat

(Terrible picture, but I had been at the dealer all day, and I just wanted to drive the damn thing.)

I knew from the start the truck would eventually get new wheels and tires, and some sort of suspension upgrade. I wasn't sure my commitment to using the truck for what is was meant for was there, so I originally planned on going with a Bilstein 5100 setup and calling it good.

    Then, I saw these beauties.
    FullSizeRender 10.jpg
Found an eBay seller ready to make a deal, and got the front's for about $250 less than I had seen anywhere else.

So tomorrow (2/2/17) the truck will be at The Truck Shop SD getting fitted with:

    Light Racing UCA
    Fox 2.5 Front Coilovers
    Fox 2.0 Rear RR
    Headstrong Progressive AAL
    T4R 17 inch wheels
    BFG KO2 275/70/17

    5/5/17
    CVT Mt. Bachelor
    CBI Offroad Overland Bars

    6/23/17
    Blendmount for Escort 9500ix
    RadarMount Mirror Wire

    Future Plans include:
Window Tint (have been too lazy to find a decent place)
    Front Bumper (likely CBI Offroad)
Recovery Gear (the usual suspects, HiLift, MaxTrax, RotoPax)

Here are a few beauty shots after a wash with Adam's Polishes products, a coat of CG Jetseal, and a coat of CG Butter Wet Wax. The paint isn't perfect, but it is good enough for me.

    Update: 2/3/17

Got the lift installed yesterday as well as the tires and wheels mounted and balanced.

The guys over at The Truck Shop in San Diego did a great job! They know what they are doing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Here are some quick iPhone shots!

    Update 2/4/17

One of my biggest gripes of having the OR without the Tech Package was the chrome rear bumper. Today I fixed that with some painters tape and a can of PlastiDip.

Awesome build! This is the exact suspension that I was looking at getting, but also thinking about dakars, how high do you have the coilovers cranked? How's the ride with the foxes? Also I don't imagine you would but is there any rubbing with the 275/70 tires? Sorry for all the questions.

I attached a picture of the threads showing on the front coilovers. The ride is great. On the street the truck feels much more planted. No rubbing at all, probably could of ran this tire on stock suspension.

    Update: 5/5/17

Picked up a CVT Mt. Bachelor in Green thanks to @ramonortiz55 GB last month! Also purchased a set of CBI Offroad Overland Bars. Here are some quick shots I took. So far everything looks good. Tent is very well made and so are the bars. Shoutout to CBI for getting me the bars a month before they quoted!

Finally purchased and installed a blendmount for my Escort 9500IX as well as hardwiring it to the mirror power.
Very easy install. Switched power was the 1st wire and ground was the 3rd wire (from left to right). Happy to no longer have a cord.
