The mount is a marine tank holder, but I forgot where I got that one.

Ok, so I got started with the boltless frame today. It's pretty easy to work with, however I didn't order enough material and here's how much I got done. The only time consuming thing is mitering the corners. I'll also have to figure out how to improvise the leg on the wheel well. I didn't take into account that it tapers in about an 1". I'm going to use 1/2" plywood all the way around, I just can't find the stuff I want.

Sure Marine sells a bracket similar if not the same. West Marine sells it more expensively. I just got one from PowerTank, but seems like it may be be for lighter duty mount location.

Are you using 80/20 quick frame?

Yes, it's 80/20, but after working with it I will use t-slot framing next.

Here's what I have so far. I still need to add hinges and close latches.

I was looking at that stuff before I decided to build a truckvault style drawer system (which I havent started yet). Yours is looking nice though, what do you estimate weight to land at for that?

@Iggy - I may need to buy a 30 light bar from IggyCorp and drive to NAPA for pickup to ask some Jedi advice on electricity, tslot fridge box and RTT ideas for T4R.

Did you ever find someone with a third gen Tacoma to work with on measurements?

Yeah man, let me know what you need and I'll take care of you. No third gens yet, but I've been working on a few other things primarily the camper and haven't had much time for anything else.

Interesting. I am going to be mounting a bedslide on top, but I may need to play around with finding out how much weight they will handle. I figure my drawer setup will run about 200lbs or so unloaded. Upside however is locking away the 2A items safely..

Ideally I'd like something like this setup:
    https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.c...r-single-height-double-width-1252mm-long.html

But I'd like a platform on top that covers the entire bed area and drawers are independent and can be accssed from on top as well.

I'm brainstorming ideas, but I will defiantly go t-slot. This framing is kind of a pain.

Huh, I had not seen that setup, pretty interesting. I may modify my design a bit.

I have been planning something like this:
