Just got back after a 8/9 day trip, D and I wanted to say thank you Lisa and @Kyitty for the great time and hospitality. You both are awesome.DSC_0434.jpg When we parted ways we had a great afternoon and night in camp. The next day we headed south to the Lodge, ate lunch and a beautiful drive. The weather came in around 5:30ish and was cool and rainy at camp but, as always made the most of it until I found a warning ticket from Ranger Timmy because I left our washed Camelback coffee cups on the bench at camp. He says that he put them in the food storage box but, to no avail they were gone when we checked. I hope he enjoys them, they were brand new....my fault :).
Rained all night and the snow started about 4:00am. By 9:00 am it was snowing sideways and we headed south to the Tetons and the snow just got heavier and heavier all the way into Idaho so, we made our way into the Sawtooth National Forest closer to home base. We hooked up with @n0rth for a day or so, went on an epic trail ride as always with him.
    20170615_153849.jpg

then went solo for a few days and just got home this morning.
A quick stop for lunch in Idaho
    DSC_0467.jpg
Thank you again, looking forward to the next time.

I read that, but figured there was someone / something where they weren't supposed to be, based on her comment

Yellowstone posted a 5hank you for folks alerting 5them to photos showing unsafe behavior in the park. Me and another lady commented in support of that, stating were alerted park employees to the crazy stuff we see in person. Another dude took offense to us being "tattletales"
    Pretty much.

I'm ok with being lame if it means my park, geysers, aminals, and mountains are safe!

For me, it's about access. See, people who break the rules don't realize they're the ones who ruin it for everyone who did follow them and for those who would have followed them.

Yep. Oh, he going out there? Ok, I'll go too!!!
I see the Yellowstone of the future with enclosed, plexiglass tunnels over the boardwalks...

When I was a kid, we went on a tour of the Jelly Belly factory. At the time, you walked on the mfg floor and if you saw something you liked, you were free to grab a handful but only from the top tray. And you'd pick some come the end of the tour as well. Maybe not the most sanitary thing but today, you are 30' above the floor and behind glass and samples are handed to you.
