    As you guys know BAMF makes a sweet grill, but who would like a matching scoop grill??
    The stock one is plain and plastic. (kinda like the PRO grill:boink:) and doesn't compliment the BAMF at all. I came up with a solution that is simple and clean.

    Let's hear it if you are interested, and maybe @JLee can offer them:D

    Mock up design: Copied the same hole cut out sizes as grill;
    (sorry, dirty truck)
    [IMG]

    Final design would obviously be powdercoated black just like the grill

    Close up;

    Stock VS Proposed
    [IMG]

    The stock scoop has a lip, where the new one will fit in and be flush with the front. Allen head bolt on each side to secure it

    @mesojdm so I know you did this to your taco, but do you know if there are any companies out there that make replacement scoop grilles? I have a Pro and want to change the grille out to match my front grille. Can you do this?

    Man. The sad thing was I initially thought you meant a scoop for the grill, based on your first picture. Not a grill for the hood scoop. It made me think this whole scoop desire on tacos was getting a little out of hand.

    Very nice. I am impatiently waiting for a final version to be for sale. What will the price point look like?

    My scoop grill is aluminum, but the PRO would have to be 3D printed due to the complex shapes.
    No clue. I'll make 1 first and go from there

    I feel like you should improve on BAMF’s design and come up with a plastic / CF based recessed style grill for the tacoma. Something lighter and perhaps customizable.

    I feel there is moneis to be ‘urrned in that market.

    I like the first prototype better! To much honeycomb going on with the grille and also the scoop. I may change my mind with the finish product tho. :thumbsup:

    Or even a recessed 'TOYOTA' OR 'TACOMA' in the Pro Grill insert. Idk.
