Well I'll take your advice and wait on install until everything is installed on truck. So question is, how do we get these pully's? :)

Check the price for a new pulley without the kit. I'll bet it is even cheaper. ;)

Good to hear it it up and running. May the hooning begin!

For any one else considering this mod: very worthy! Before going to the smallest pulley or even the 2.8" make sure you have upgraded your fuel pump, and have an AFR gauge.*** Critically important as you up the boost. If you live in a truly hot state, subsequent other complementing mods for tuning or cooling may be necessary as well.

Currently tracking AFR's and making adjustments as necessary if needed. It is still too soon to tell if I am in the overly rich range or not with the pulley, but what's important here is that the setup works, pending adjustments to the idler pulley to the right directly below the supercharger pulley, but as previously stated, that is secondary as the belt still fully rides entirely on it, just on the edge of where it ends.

I would say be careful choosing proper pulley size, but for those who love tinkering and tuning, the pulleys alone are cheap enough and easy enough to swap out with this setup, so swap it out daily if you please or every hour if you are really that bored. :D No more BS with this setup! Remove belt, remove 5 Allen bolts, remove, and swap, reinstall belt, bank.

I cannot reiterate enough that at minimum what will be needed with the setup in order to properly monitor running conditions will be an AFR gauge. VERY IMPORTANT! The fuel pump upgrade should be performed as well. These mods at minimum will put you in a much better position to play around with your new setup.

Enjoy folks! Please quote me or message me if you have any other questions.

Again, if there is enough interest here, I will push for a group buy.

Wow it apparently fits! I'm curious why your 2.5 is only getting 9.5 lbs at sea level. Seems low regardless of the 90 degrees especially since you have all 4 of your cats right? If you don't have headers then where is your AFR gauge sensor? So how lean are you at wot? Cheers

AFR sensor is where the Y joins. It is low, I agree though I haven't driven the car much so testing has been slow. My restriction is at the Y pipe, so I'll need to mod that out, but apparently, that is actually supposed to drop boost because there is then less retriction for the actual amount of boost to flow through. I just saw it hit 10.x PSI on the boost gauge this morning actually, but in reality I had a safeguard in place until I had the chance to properly test it out. I was running at like 10.5 afr and sometimes even dropping in the 9's air. The air fuel ratio was pretty unstable up today so needless to say, my cylinders were consistently getting washed down with gas. Better than lean though.

I removed that safeguard a while ago, retested it, and am now at a consistent 11.6-11.8/1 AFR at WOT at all times now. Perfect. :)

9.5lbs with the 2.5" at sea level is AWESOME! I've only seen 7lbs with my 2.85" (+mods) at the same altitude.

thx @12TRDTacoma for doing all the legwork (R&D) on this mod. Something tells me there might be a rash of used URD 2.85" pullies for sale soon!

10lbs as of right now ;) the number is soon to climb more I'm sure.

Speaking of which, anyone want to buy a used 2.85 press on style URD stealth pulley?

    :D

The newest problem I have right now is that I picked up so much more notable power out of it, (It even shows when I'm passing someone on the freeway when I dust them by car lengths) that I want to race everyone now. Shoot. Lol.

Having multiple cats up stream from afr sensor makes for inaccurate readings.

So I'm aware, but not horribly inaccurate. I'll check my readings at the AFR's with my scanner as well as fuel trims, but I'm confident things are within great range.

Maybe I missed this, but you can run this 2.5" pulley without any trimming what so ever?

You missed out, like a lot. No you have to trim the snout.

Also, you need to run a size smaller belt compared to stock. To make up for that half inch lost. I believe I am experiencing slippage because the boost is always a different number.

You should run a size smaller belt once you go down to a 2.6, and 2.7 is questionable also actually.
