I live in Poughkeepsie, but drive up to Kingston for work up on 28.
I see lots of Tacos in both areas!

 

Not far from either of you fellas....probably pass you frequently - New Paltz it is for me

 

I'm just off of 28 near Steve's Pizza. Yeah, lots of Tacomas in the area, but the first gens are dwindling.

 

I frequent picnic pizza frequently, but know where Steve's is.
I am a store manager for Potter Brothers. My store is in Poughkeepsie, but is closed in the summer so I work in Kingston for summers.
The silver Taco parked there most days is mine.

 

Picnic pizza is very good. Nothing like wood fired oven for cooking pizza. Steve's is a few miles further up 28.

I haven't been in PBs in many years. The place is packed when they do the swap meets under the tent.

 

I'll have to clear my weekend for that one

 

Next one should have better turnout

Finally found the NY thread. Just bought my truck yesterday and drove 2.5 hrs home. It was a hell of a lot smoother, quieter and more comfortable than my '10 Wrangler. Oh and I averaged 23 MPG, love this truck.

Theres gonna be some sand drags on july 15th that i did pretty well at in june. If anybody wants to meet up there it's just about deadcenter of the state by rome. Nick said he prolly goin...

 

I doubt I can make that, Im just north of NYC so thats a 4 hour drive for me.

 

Ya, we miss all the fun of the city but there is a lot of fun within an hour of here. Adirondacks, state fair, we are goin to the syracuse nationals the day after the races

 

Keep an eye out for me Friday afternoon, heading to JFK. Flying out Friday night to Portugal for a couple of weeks, and taking the truck because of all the suit cases.

Going to leave it at some parking spot down there too. Not sure the name since my sister in law booked it, and the wife has the info.

I am picking up my parents from JFK tomorrow morning, they are on their way back from argentina
any of the long term parkings at JFK are pretty safe and cost like 20 per day I believe iirc
I would suggest doing the ones there at JFK before doing one of the many that are just outside of the airport
