I noticed today that some how my head light broke. it just has a stress crack down the middle of it and no other markings. The aftermarket ones look amazing in pictures but I don't believe the quality in there. Is there any type you recommend in the aftermarket or should I just stay with stock ones from Toyota? I would like to stay under 300.00 if possible to replace them.

    Build thread coming soon!
None of the aftermarket lights have OE quality... that's just the way it is being that Toyota has the ability to spend millions on R & D for everything you can imagine while the offshore outfits just care about having something that looks like it's the same. If you do any amount of highway driving at night, put OE back in it...

Nothing will beat OEM, but if you cannot swing it, look for CAPA certified aftermarket, these are independently tested to be equivalent in quality. While I don't necessarily believe they are, they are significantly better than aftermarket with no quality oversight and provide better beam pattern and light output.

Do you have a website that you recommend to purchase from? I will keep an eye out for them. Nice read on the LED/ Halogen.

Look on eBay for some used OEM headlights. The only guarantee to be free of issues. I've had two aftermarket headlights and there's definitely a noticeable difference. One fogged up bad and the other has been a pain to get pointed correctly. So unless you want some fancy aftermarkets, try to get OEM

Or if you're a DIY kinda guy, you could pop some less expensive ones open and reseal them with quality butyl. It's not difficult at all and you won't get moisture.

Mine are all stress cracked too. I have a set of Depos I was going to put in but would prefer the stock reflector. Are the lens interchangeable?

I don't see why they wouldn't be. I would recommend picking up some new butyl from the retrofit source, as well as some silica packets. I used this when doing my BHLM, and I haven't had any condensation.
