Just keep trying to use them. I usually carry a pack of 5 because I'm bound to lose a set or someone else could use one. A full face is the easiest way to cut out noise. Even it does look odd on that style bike

I find my full face helmet is louder than the half helmet. (Behind the fairing of an Electra Glide). It's probably not but that what I think.

    I always wear earplugs.

I've noticed certain full face helmets are louder than others. Maybe more padding around the ears. I wear ear plugs for long rides. My scorpion helmet is loud. My HJC is a lot more quiet. I tried my brothers Bell and I liked it. Can't afford a Shoei because I only liked the $500-600 ones.

Anyone subscribe to any motovloggers on youtube?

Yup I have a shoei rf1100 and bell moto9 for a dirt helmet. Love both of them but they are pricy.

    Vlogs are boring to me

Ear plugs sure are the cheap solution. But I'm ready for a new helmet.
The half I wear isn't not legit and I have a speed & strength full and it's good till about 75 then it tries to lift off and pinches my ears.
One of the guys I was riding with had a modular and it looked like the chin bar could be stowed behind the helmet. But it was Harley branded.
    Also thinking about a bagger.
    And a drz lol

Get something better than a drz and you won't regret spending the extra money

I just want something lightish and reliable. My time on pavement is small enough I don't care at all about that. I almost could get away w no street legal. I'm just to lazy to want to load the bike up.
Idk our ride was fun so now I'm just bikes bikes, on the brain.

Problem is in Oregon if it started life as am off-road title you can't plate it anymore.
So all my dual sport options suck.
Only thing cool is the 1190 adventure and I don't want that.

A 690 would have been my top pick. If I wanted something lighter it'd be a 500exc. The 690 keeps the same drz weight but the extra power would be a ton of fun. The 500 has almost as much power but less weight. Have friends who have had either one and they rip on them all the time just the same. Done 300+ miles in a day with both styles of bikes.

Drz does the job, i enjoy it for what it is. Just would have gone differently. Considering I think the drz is a turd stock.
