Hello Tacoma World! I've always liked Tacomas. I grew up with my dad having one for years. There's just something about them. With that being said, I never thought I'd have the opportunity to buy one. I started casually shopping for one since the Gen 3 face lift (don't hold that against me Gen 1 & 2 owners). I finally pulled the trigger and bought one on June 13th. I didn't buy it for off-roading. I bought it because they look bad ass, I knew Tacomas were reliable, I wanted a truck for some light hauling/towing purposes, and knew it got decent gas mileage.

I've put about 600 miles on it so far and I love it. I've only added a few small things so far, like a bed cover, chrome exhaust tip, mud flaps, LED interior light. I still need to get the windows tinted. I'm not sure what else I'll do to it. One thing I've noticed from looking through this forum is that there isn't a shortage of add-ons for Tacomas. My wife is going to kill me haha

My only concern is the shifting. It doesn't happen all the time but when I accelerate it seems delayed/under powered. I've seen a view TSB threads about a software update that would help but I literally have no idea what a TSB report is or to know if it applies to my truck since it was built in May 2017.

Anyway, I guess that's my intro. Happy to be here and hope to learn from you all.

Here's a picture of when I first got home from the dealership.
