Protective film in front of rear fender flares

    2006 Taco has a protective film on
    right side tore up. I guess it has done it's job. It could be one of those 3M products. How do you repair or replace it? Can it be repaint like black to match that black rubber edge guard?

    Try a wallpaper steamer to get it off.

    I had mine replaced at a 3M installer, I think it cost $60.
