    Saw an F-18 on approach to Moffett Field (NUQ) yesterday while driving home (couldn't snap a picture). Love that sight and wish we'd see more jets here.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
    Ms. Q the Mooney in the shop :( Compression on cylinder 1 was 15.... 15!!!!! WTF? Cracked jug. Number 2 had good compression but the stud backed out and was hanging by a thread of the helicoil, so it's out too getting fixed... oh and a crack in the exhaust stack on the right side...

    Supposed to fly to Vegas this weekend so looks like I'll take Matilda the 206.

    Your right they were testing them here for about a year all day long in the pattern. Turbo prop about 1500hp they are fast once airborne turn pretty close to a regular ATA even uparmoured an the camera optics on them rival any UAS.
