I recently ordered some SOS Concepts sliders and have been researching the supplies needed to paint them.
Does anyone know the difference between Rust-Oleum Professional bed coating vs the normal spray bedliner? Is it worth the extra $4 can?

I've used it once and it seems to be thicker than the regular stuff, which also means that it doesn't go as far. I usually stick to the regular due to cost. Walmart always has it cheaper than everywhere else, by multiple dollars per can.

My neighbor just refreshed his '03 Ranger side steps with this.

It is thick, and thus a bit harder to work with than a typical spray. I have no clue if it will last longer / wear better though.

I can say it looks great in that application.

Set your can in a container of hot water about halfway up for a minute or 2. Might spray better.

I've used the regular Rustoleum bed-liner on my rear bumper and bed bars and it looks and feels great. Easy to use as well. I also have some SOS Concepts sliders on order (order April 24 so should be done any day now) and will use the same stuff for those.
