Camping at Brazeau Reservoir in Alberta, Canada. First time I had the SUP out after getting 54 inch Yakima Tracks and Cross Bars installed. Board sits on bars with Yakima SUPDawg

 

All ready for a week in Yosemite!

That was one of the most exciting parts of the whole trip right there The next morning it was even deeper. I was surprised at how fast that snow can melt being a city boy.

 

Yeah being from the desert mud and deep water are really foreign to me. I've seen to many videos of people flooding their trucks because they got to deep.

I bet it was super buggy up there.
How was Silver Canyon, did you run it to the top?

 

Funnel lake was nothing but swarms of mosquitoes and I sufffered miserably. I have since added about 35 bucks worth of bug repellent to my gear, never again!
we tried to make our way up to Coyote Lake but just to much snow

 

Silver Canyon was a blast, we started at the bottom of Bishop on up to the top.Then across to Wyman Canyon and down it, ended up on Highway 168. That whole White Mtn. Traverse was a great run.

We came across a stranded dude who was in a Duramax that had overheated shortly after the switchbacks started. After many atrempts to get it started and discovering some other issues that may have been caused by him, I gave him a ride down the hill to where his daughter was supposed to meet and pick him up.

Came across a large herd of Big Horns crossing the road..

 

Made a quick overnight trip to Tenderfoot Creek Camp grounds about 2 hours south of anchorage. Got in some paddling. Tried to fish but nothing biting.
