I'm still in. Down 7-8 lbs. Just getting more exercise and cutting down on portoin size.

Feel better and pants fit looser. Haven't gone down in size, but still happy.

I hope others are still thinking positive.

Had no idea this thread existed!

    Currently: 5'6" and 189lbs
    Heaviest Ever: 196lbs

Back in my early 20's I was 145lbs soaking wet! Oh to have that metabolism back!! I was scrawny though. I've gotten on the weight loss kick a couple times in the last decade. Each time I've felt better, looked better, had better moods, etc. Unfortunately each time I've bounced back and stopped working out due to stressful life events.

Last spring/summer I began lifting weights at the local gym about 3-4 days a week, roughly an hour and a half to two hours each day. Got myself down to size 32" or less waist line, built muscle, and hit 170lbs and stayed there. Felt amazing. Hell I could make my pecks dance! Shit happened in the fall. I stopped hitting the gym, work stress made me lazy and I began eating poorly again. Muscle mass deteriorated and after it all went away I jumped from 170 to 190lbs and a 34" waist. My pants all fit tight now and don't have room in the legs to be agile anymore. Holding my breath to tie my shoes, shit like that.

Really would like to make space in my house for a squat tower/bench and get some free weights!

    High: 170 lbs (April 26, 2017 -- all-time 187 lbs in Nov. 2015)
    Low: 157 lbs (August 2016)

Back into the routine. Started back into it late April after I got the all-clear to return to workout type activities from the oncologist. Should achieve my goal around the time I'm heading in for my 6 month follow-up screening in late July.

    Congrats! Great pics as well.

I'm still exercising and eating (trying) better. Feel much better as well.

I still use MFP to track exercise and food everyday.

Ok so two days in to eating healthy. Trying to reduce calorie intake and dump fake sugar.

    Have had several salads.

Spinach, mixed greens, almonds, raisins, shredded cheese, italian dressing, and diced pork loin chop.

    Oh, and watermelon.

Way cool. Just got a notification for this thread as I was finishing up my elliptical run. Sitting here cooling down reading this thread really encourages me.

Been resisting donuts all day. Coworker brought them in this morning. Still some left.

    Hungry.

I hear you. Try being married to a 110 pound woman who easily eats 2x what I eat. Then I get shit because I'm done eating way before her.

So many obstacles to over come just to lose a few pounds. SMFH!

Might crack the 220 plateau that has been dogging me since I started my weight loss. I hit 220.3 lbs this morning.

I haven't posted in here in too long...
Moved to another state, living on my own for the first time, sharing a kitchen with 2 roommates, and really not eating very healthy.

On the plus side I have been losing weight and gaining muscle, I work part time for a plumber, he usually has me digging holes or ditches, I also work part time for a tree trimmer/arborist so i run lines from the ground lowering limbs and carrying brush to the shredder, as well as working part time for the post office, usually 6+ hour shifts with no lunch break.

15 years ago I went on a crash diet and fitness kick. Went from 263 on Mar 1st… finished 172 on Aug 1st. To bad over the last 15 years I have found some of that weight again.

Losing is easy once you get going …keeping it off for years is the tough part.

    Currently sitting at 215
