There is nothing wrong with wheel spacers if they are good quality and are installed correctly. I have run SpiderTrax 1.25" spacers and Bora 1" spacers, they both work great. I doubt you would need more than 1" to clear your frame.
Your toe angle may have contributed to some uneven tire wear, generally an inside-outside wear imbalance is due to camber though.

Replaced the bearing in my Power Steering Idler pulley. Toyota wants more than $100 for the whole assembly. I got the bearing here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0045DTOLY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The bearing is a 6301. It is the same as the AC idler pulley bearing.
It doesn't use a retaining ring, but instead has a "staked washer" I was able to beat the stakes in and hammered the bearing out from the back.

I've done a mod or two
It's low enough you shouldn't have to relocate the third light, looks nice!

Thanks man! Yeh it's low enough but when the tent or sky box is on the rack it's not visible. I can unplug when not in use if necessary, on off switch maybe.

Question for the guys. I crawled under my new baby today and noticed that it's has tokico shocks under it. From what I read on here, the TRD comes with bilsteins so my question is, does anyone know anything about these? Or am I going crazy and those are the original shocks? Sorry, sure it's a noob question

Thank you. Looking at doing a 3" lift but I was making sure I wasn't going to get rid of something good. Reviews say they suck so 5100s and eibachs it is!

Found the mount holding this on busted off and it lead to weird noises like this. Can someone show me how the mount is supposed to look? All I see is the rubber isolater.

Learned a valuable lesson last night on working on older 1st gens.... Spray some penetrating oil on everything a day before wrenching.

Went to replace pads and rotors and ended up damaging the caliper getting the damn pins out... Looks like I will have all new pads, rotors, and calipers on it now..

Had to replace calipers as well when I did mine. Them pins just would not come out. Ended up morphing from hitting them. And I did spray them a day ahead of time and then during working as well. So be it. New stuff is ok.

Yup, plugged right in, as did everything else. The Cruise control pin out is different, but plugs into the same connector. I stole this idea from @COMAtized99. I got the whole column from the slip joint up. I couldn't find much info on wheel swaps from 3rd gen runners to 1st gen tacos. I have read about various Lexus swaps and a RAV4 wheel on here though. Someone said the airbag was not compatible with Tacos due to crumple zones etc., but I don't see how they could be any different as the Taco is nearly identical to the 4Runner and the front half of the passenger compartment is dimensionally the same. Airbag sensors are located in the same spots.
