I'll be upgrading my head unit soon to a Kenwood double din and will be replacing the factory speakers soon after as well. Anybody have any recommendations for some speakers that sounds decent at higher volumes without having to add an amp to the system?

I Google upgrade for my truck and kicker offers nice upgrade packages for our trucks.I have found kicker performs well for me with factory or aftermarket head units without a external amp wit not to shabby bass response.if your lookin for screaming loud volume Polk would be another option to look into.

Pick some speakers with a high efficancy rating. They have a better sweet spot for low watts. JL Audio TL-series is what I used, they worked well.

I have an aftermarket double din head unit and was recently given a recommendation for this exact setup. JBL Club 6520 and 6930. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but they are about $124 on Amazon.
