It was a trailer supply place on the east coast. Give me a min and I'll see if I can find it.

I only order round tube in .120" wall.

Square tube I use all kinds of wall thicknesses on. Depends on the applications. For a bed rack I'd probably use 1.5"X1.5" or 1"x2" 14ga- 11ga.

What size angle are you guys using for the bed rails so it reaches the bolts and doesn't stick out on top side?

I cut mine out of 1/8" plate and then "whiskey bent" the plate into a 90* angle to make them.

Whiskey bending or a poor mans break is what I call it but it is simply cutting a slot in the plate with a cut off wheel and leaving about 1" sections uncut about every 10-12". Once the cut is made you can bent the small areas that are uncut pretty east then weld up the cut and blend grind the weld.

Made a low profile set like that for my old tundra. After putting j cradles on top it was the perfect height for the kayaks.

image.jpg image.jpg 1 1/2 angle and the bolts and lower brackets I found at summit racing. They work great. I have 5 on each side, 4 are inside the toolbox holding it down as well. I just use a cordless drill set on 15 to remove and install bolts.

Mine are the width of the plastic caps on the bed and extend 1/4" below the rail system in the bed. So probably close to 7" then bent down the center.
