Another possible keyless entry option?

    2023 Tacoma SR5 DCSB 2.7L Ice Cap
    After a bit of research, I see that the keyless entry logic/receiver is built into the TPMS module on the SR5, and of course, it's not present on the SR.

    Does anyone know if you can swap out (plug-and-play into the existing wiring harness) the TPMS module from the SR5, and simply program factory FOB's to it?

    I can't imagine the basic harness/wiring would be any different between the two trucks, particularly when the cruise and intermittent wipers upgrades are plug-and-play.

    The only kink I can think of is that the SR has a basic TPMS system, whereas the SR5 I believe monitors individual tires. That may require a wheel sensor upgrade as well.
