A/C Idler Pulley tension bolt size??

    Anyone know what size the idler pulley tension bolt is??

    Length, size and pitch?

    Got to replace mine

    Already figured it out...8mm x 80mm x1.25

    Good luck finding that any place but your dealer.

    It needs to be threaded the whole length.

    Maybe your luck will be better then mine

    I was able to knock my shaft out(the sleeve was frozen), put the whole assembly in the vice and used heat and vice grips to remove the old, bent and broken one. Cut it short with a angle grinder first, wanted the cleanest threads so as to not destroy it.

    Found an 8 x 70mm x 1.25 flange bolt at my local hardware store, works for me

    Glad you found a bolt close at hand no one but the dealer had any thing that would work
