This is the exact video I followed and it was very easy. Like super duper pooper scooper easy. The key is to use a real floor jack and not some rinky dink bullshit jack. It also helps to have a second set of hands to guide the shock back in during reassembly.

FWIW I've recommended this method to 5-7 different people and they have all come back thanking me and telling me how easy it was.

And they clocked your speed with LIDAR... radar can be argued to some extent but LIDAR is super accurate.

Damn straight. If the cop understands how LIDAR works and can show the judge that fact... you can't argue much. I've used Radar and LIDAR before. LIDAR is the freaking bomb diggity.

If I remember my facts straight at all (it's been over a decade) the Lidar laser beam at 900ft is like 3 feet square. So it's really difficult to suggest the officer was picking up someone else's vehicle and not yours (which RADAR can do sometimes).

Although, aiming the LIDAR at a small motorcycle can be more difficult.

If you get super bored and research some of LIDARs other capabilities, it gets even cooler. It can do high resolution terrain mapping. NOAA even has an introduction to LIDAR course. Nerd stuff...

Depends. lol I know a motor officer who was outrun by a truck. Something about a limiter on his BMW Police bike. I guess they limit them to 100mph. Where as the guy's truck... wasn't.

The same shit everyone else has.
Took advantage of Autogeek's 25% off sale yesterday and bought some supplies.

Today, I quick detailed it. This should hold me over until I can give it a good detailing next week.

Oh yea, I studied GIS in college and got to play with Lidar datasets. The detail in 3D terrain modeling is awesome. Now I'm just an applications engineer and I don't get to play with maps anymore :(

    We played inside the Taco.

My son decided to rearrange and adjust a few things in the truck ...

He loves playing inside and pushing the hazard button, knobs on the radio, turn signal stock (although at times I worry he might snap them off), and the shifter

Same with my 3 year old. He loves "driving", so he sits in my seat and turns the wheel. Pushes the hazard, turns the blinkers on, wipers, all that good stuff. I even have to turn the truck on for him. :frusty:

We have not gotten to turning the truck on yet. I really hope it lasts for another 14 years so I can pass it on to him
