Front skid plate mount extensions?

    hey what is this? Does it serve any purpose? Tried seachching but tbh I don't know what it's called. Located under the front bumper where the skid plate is attached.IMG_1687.jpg

    I wouldn't cut it, it looks like that bolt will allow you to remove it.

    I will have to look at it again to see how far it goes into the frame. I didn't want to lose any strength it might provide to the frame.
