My mechanic buddy replaced a section of brakeline yesterday to the rear wheels. Its not the 1st time we have done this. The lines were all bled, no more air coming out, BUT, the pedal wont come up. i had a bit of brake pedal yesterday, not a lot though. checked it this morning and it goes right to the floor. bled everyhing again. no air in lines, so he loosened the fitting at the master cylinder and when i pump the brakes there is no pressure at the master cyl. either????
He doesnt know the whole Toyota system, ie- ABS sytem and all its lines , but fiquires the master cylinder must be the issue. I do have to mention that my brakes havnt been perfect for the last couple of years. I had to really press hard on the pedal to get the right stopping power, even the last time the brakes were done. Any experts on 95 tacoma brake systems out there with any other possible ideas? It is the 3.4 motor, power brakes, 4x4,SR5. We were going to order a master today, but the jobber cant even find one ,even from his supplier. I am located just outside Toronto ,ontario,Canada. May have to order one online. Any suggestions on that too? Thankyou.

Did you bleed the rear proportioning valve under the bed?

Sounds like the MC is to blame, I would remove it and try bench bleeding it. You should be able to tell quickly if it is pushing any fluid.
