My 4runner is sitting at home in my driveway with my buddies pop up trailer still on it from the weekend.

I havent unloaded the food out of my fridge yet from the weekend so i rolled the rear window down, checked the voltage on my voltmeter that the fridge is also plugged into. it was sitting at 11.3

    She struggled to start.

its a 5 year old lead acid excide battery sitting in there. I have a brand new red top im going to swap in tonight!

Took the time today to install my TRD off-road progressive coils on a set of bilstein 4600s I got from @HeadStrong Off-Road , on my 4Runner . This combo rides really nice and lifts the front a shade over 2 inches

Thanks for the hint, I'll try it next time, I transfer pumped 100k mile Amsoil in this time. That ridiculous 10mm Allen drain plug was already stripped a little bit, I tried to break it loose, no go. It's ok if the drain plug won't come out, if you can get the fill plug out first you can use a transfer pump to drain and fill.

You can get a transfer pump tube to the bottom of the front diff via the fill plug, done it on a Tundra, '07 T4R and this '08 Runner. You can draw out 1.2 quarts and refill.

Crappy setup, the front diff plugs have been the most difficult removal on my trucks since 1990. Rear shock topnut on the Runner is second place.

    With SCS?

No TW discounts, for military PM him and ask. @SCSPerformance

    With Wheeler's Offroad?
They give a small TW discount when you mention TW membership (there's no coupon code), as far as a military discount - I don't have a clue.

Got more aggressive with the build, now my drive line was hitting my gas skid AGAIN.

Cut it up some more, cut the mounting area off, and welded the support bracket farther into it. Added a support piece to it.
Need to flex it on another trip and see if this is the last of my cutting it.

Bilstein 5100's with OME 2884 coil springs. LED interior lighting. Centric premium rotors and Durago Ceramic brake pads.
Gradually building out my '05 4Runner. Installed Bilstein 5100's on the back and have ordered OME 2884's and 5100's for the front. LED lighting inside (really nice), now I need new tires. Anyone know the largest tire size I can go with this setup? Torn between P275-70R17's and LT285-70-R17. Anyone ran Kumho Road Venture AT's? They look sweet for the price.

I just ran the AC drip line extension down the side of the frame. I noticed that after running the AC, water dripped directly onto the frame and down into the boxed frame as well as down the sides. In order to prevent rust, I took my piece of heater hose that I had on my Tacoma and zip tied it into place. No need even for a hose clamp, as the 4Runner drip line comes out at a 90 degree angle downward onto the frame. Zip tied it in two places, fluid film on frame. Good to go!
