    This^^^^ Has been done. Can confirm.

    Now carry a small container of Schraeder valve cores in truck for such occasions.

    Also use same deflator.....When I can remember where I put it:anonymous:

    For the record.... 10lb tank. Just did 4th air up . (285/75r16's, aired down to 18psi then back up to 36 psi) would have been (@ least) one more air up except some major retard didn't close the valve tight before he unscrewed the regulator..... Still has preasure, just not sure if enough to do an entire re-air or not. 3 more full tanks in garage, so why take the chance.

    Just thinking out loud....
