fake bolts and bead-LOOK

    Plenty of respectable manufacturers made/make wheels with fake fastening hardware/bolts, as well as fake bead-lock (often referred to as bead-look). Some models of Bridgestone Berg's and WORK Crag's, for example. Even Toyota made bead-look TRD wheels.

    But as a consumer, why purchase these? In previous decades the fake bolts were at least smaller, but they seem to be getting larger and larger. Especially these huge, cast bead-look wheels! All of which has gotta hurt performance.

    Think about how many spacer kits are out there on trucks today. A lot of people want the look but not necessarily the functionality.
