I have an issue with my 2001 tacoma 2.7L automatic. When I ramp up the RPMs theres a fast clicking noise and when I drive on the freeway going around 70MPH or just simply accelerating over 60MPH the clicking noise shows up. Anyone know what this could be?

Could be an exhaust leak if it's coming from the engine bay. Can you provide a better description of what/where?

Check for leaks at the egr pipe connections, my ticking ended up being a cracked exhaust manifold. If you have the newer style 3rz tubular mini- header, check the donut gaskets around the manifold exit. The cast exhaust manifolds are known to crack. It may also be valvetrain noise.

Take a video and move your phone around the engine bay in hopes it will get louder by part of the engine and post it. It will help these guys hear and see what's going on. :) You can upload to youtube on your phone, then post the link on here.
