Just picked up a new 3rd with a Harrop E-locker. Wondering how to determine how to remount the driveshaft to the flange on the third member. I know you're supposed to mark how it aligns prior to removing if you are re-installing, but what about installing a new 3rd?

How the 3rd bolts to the driveshaft does not matter. What matters is that the driveshaft stays in phase with itself. If you take apart a 2 piece driveshaft you need to mark it so it goes back together the same.

Talked to Curtis at ECGS, told me the same. Doesn't matter how pinion flange and driveshaft are oriented.

Thanks all, install of the rear went super easy. Had issues with fuses blowing due to bad ground. All set now, tested and locks quickly when rotating wheels.
