Looking to possibly sell these brackets. Let me know what you think or if you have any questions. As for a price, I'm not sure right now. Let me know what you think a fair price would be and I'll see if I can't make it happen.

Designed around the Kenwood TM-281A and the Tacoma automatic transmission center console, this bracket utilizes two gear selector bolts for securement.

Trimming is required. The center console pen pocket and some minor trimming of plastic under the cover. And one of the heat sink fins on the radio itself needs a small tapered trim for clearing a nut that produces from the bottom of the gear selector.

These are CAD designed, laser cut and CNC broke. The same high quality sheet metal you would buy from any large respectable manufacture. No 'hand' work is done on these brackets. I will also have these powder coated or dipped black so they'll look nice and stay nice to make the best HAM radio bracket that is custom designed for our trucks!

As an option, I've also found the cheapest place online that sells these gear selector covers new if you don't want to cut yours up. Total was $71.06 that included $12.95 for ground shipping from FL to CA.

This is a super comprehensive list to all radio channels:

Possibly interested. No idea what a fair price is on your end but $35 bucks would be nice!

That was one of the best radios I owned. I really liked the forward speaker.

Another question for everyone is, would you rather buy just the bracket or would you want a package deal with bracket, radio, mag mount and antenna, etc.. I wouldn't be able to pass on deals for anything more than the bracket tho

$50 + shipping would be reasonable

    If it matters to you..

I love the idea and the option but I also love putting my french fries or my motorola in that slot.

I'd still probably buy one for when I figured how I wanted to utilize that slot or got bored of the current setup. Price wise, if it was more than $60 I wouldn't go for it at this time. (I've not figured out which radio I want, etc).

I 110% understand where you are coming from. My biggest con to setting this up was having to find another spot for my phone. But in the end having a clean instal radio out weighted the phone. Now that I've been using this setup for several weeks, I find I'm putting the phone in the forward cup holders or the cubby and its ok. I'd love to have one those bendable arms that holds the phone, mounts near the AC controls. Would be slick!

Unfortunately I don't have a manual taco to mock things up, but if I did...

Really the only spot would be up front in front of the shifter, but there's airbag brains behind there and putting electronics there freaks me out.

Does anyone know the rules or what I would need to do in order to use "TACOMAWORLD.COM" name/logo? Although it would be hidden, I think it would add that little extra cool factor. Made by members for members only kinda thing.
