I didn't either, but my friend killed his engine because a bus pushed water up his fender on a rainy day. With the way my fender was trimmed for my bumper it was likely it can happen, so I ended up getting a snorkel

how's the snorkel combo working out for you?

where did you get the metal piece from that ties into the snorkel?

i'm looking at the same idea to tie into my volant box...

were you able to make the hole where the filter sits air/water tight?

 

so to accommodate the tires what do u have done?
i want the exact size but for the trail grapplers witch measure 34"

i'm thinking:
• aggressive cmc
• 2" lift (3rd gen)
• upper control arms
• fender liner removed(replaced with marine rubber riveted in needed places)
• alignment with 3+ castor
•and trimming the inside of the front bumper until i get an aftermarket one
• lastly if needed modified pocket bushwackers and cut the fender higher,

i got new tires... went down to 265/75/16 i rub when i turn hard.. but its not to bad. i trimmed my fender. Some people cut their cab mounts.
