Eliminating Body Roll

Hello All,
I just bought my first Toyota and first truck. I am looking for a way to decrease to amount of body roll in my '09 Tacoma Access Cab. Are there any any after-market items out there to help me achieve this? Sway Bars? Front Springs? Thanks!!!

 

you can get an aftermarket sway bar which i think hellwig make one. You can get aftermarket coilovers with stiffer springs, that will help but give you a stiffer ride.

 

r u 5 or 6 lug? theres some stuff out for 5 luggers that will help

sittin sic is coming out with a coilover kit for 6 luggers as well...its not out yet tho. it's a lowering kit but depending on its design u should be able to tailor the ride height.

 

Damn the sway my truck came with is waaaaaay to stiff. I have never heard of anyone complaining that they needed more. My truck is lifted and it kinda sucks because the ride is a little firm due to the sway bar being so firm.

 

your sway bar does not affect the ride that much. it is mostly your springs and spring rate and shocks/struts the only time you'll really feel the sway bar is on sharp turns and speedbumps that you don't go over straight.

and my truck rode way to soft, so i stiffened it up. its still to soft for me tho

its a truck. theyre not supposed to ride like caddys. thats just my opinion tho

when i put spidertrax spacers on it decreased the body roll by alot. just having a wider stance helped it out.

 

being wider didn't help me, i like body roll. coming into a turn on the street with three wheels is fun, and fun to see people's reaction.
